In EGO all day exclusive bar our cuisine, bar and café harmonize and create a staged atmosphere by the sea and in the open air on the beach of Kalamata.
Our restaurant’s cuisine has certainly a scent from Greece and several materials from Messinia. In the bar, cocktails with Greek ingredients are prepared, with special recipes and fusion influences. The café occupies the balcony in the Messinian Bay and combines all scents, flavors and colors, balancing between moderation and harmony.
EGO music will start with lounge easy listening and -depending on the guests’ needs- the volume increases as time goes by; there come sounds of electronic music but also funky Disco, soul jazz as well as covers of beloved songs from the 60s, 70s and 80’s.
Our cuisine is curated by executive chef Paris Costopoulos and definitely has an aroma from Greece as several ingredients are from Messinia. Our Chef’s Mediterranean influences will be clear and immediately recognizable.
Our Bar manager is Dimitris Lianos with mixtures of traditional spirits and scents of Greek herbs. He will blends the new with the old firing up our senses, transferring us to another era. In many of our cocktails we present Greek raw materials in special recipes with fusion influences. We have created a list with recipes that promise to awaken all senses.
A typical example is the cocktail with aged rum dipped in Papadopoulos cookies, fresh lime, homemade lemon cream, and hazelnut flavor textures that travels us to our childhood. Our list balances between moderation and harmony. It combines aromas, flavors and colors.
